Parry and Rosenthal Architects were commissioned to master plan, design and document the major building infrastructure for BHP Billiton‘s Ravensthorpe Nickel Mine in Western Australia’s southern region. The project included the development of the brief and the design, documentation and delivery of a range of site facilities. These included a new two storey control and operations centre, administration centre, amenities building, workshops, laboratories, medical facilities, wet mess, dry mess, gymnasium and a new accommodation village for 250 people. Parry and Rosenthal Architects were involved with both remote and on-site construction co-ordination.
